Xavi agrees to become Barcelona's new boss as club prepares to pay his £840,000 exit clause from Al-Sadd – Newspot Nigeria

Xavi Hernandez is the next coach of Barcelona, taking over the club he led as captain during his playing career. Although there has yet to be official communication, it is thought that an agreement between Los Cules and Al-Sadd has been reached in full as of Friday.

Earlier reports stated that the Blaugrana had agreed to pay the five million euro buyout provision in Xavi’s contract in order to liberate him from his previous club, but this has now been debunked.

Barcelona’s precarious financial situation continues, and the club is currently operating under a salary cap, which affects all personnel, not just players.
