Ballon d'Or 2021 – Sportco analyzes the Top 5 Contenders for the Award!

The Ballon D’Or 2021 nominees have been revealed!

For the record sixth time, Barcelona legend Lionel Messi was the last player to receive the award in 2019. Messi and his long-time rival Ronaldo have split 11 of the last 12 Ballons d’Or.

The Nominee list features some of the game’s biggest and best players, like Kylian Mbappé, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi, to name a few.

When is the 2021 Ballon d’Or winner announced?

The voting process begins now that the lists have been released.

To choose the winners, a panel of international journalists, national team coaches, and captains will be surveyed, with each voter being asked to pick their best five.

The renowned honors will be presented at a glamorous ceremony in Paris on November 29 after that procedure is completed.
