Mohamed Salah of Liverpool has been named Premier League Player of the Month for October.
Prior to Halloween, the 29-year-old was in excellent form for Jurgen Klopp’s side, registering five goals and four assists in four Premier League games.
Salah also scored three goals and set up another in his team’s 5-0 thrashing of Manchester United in October, and the Egyptian has now been rewarded with the individual award.
To win this month’s prize, Salah beat off Aaron Ramsdale, Maxwel Cornet, Phil Foden, Declan Rice, Valentino Livramento, Ben Chilwell, and Youri Tielemans.
Following in the footsteps of Michail Antonio and Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the award in August and September, respectively, the ex-Chelsea man wins the award for the fourth time.
Salah has already won the PFA award for September and October. He was also named Player of the Month in November 2017, February 2018, and March 2018.
