Antonio Conte is said to have picked nine Manchester United players around whom he would build his team if he were to succeed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager.
Solskjaer will lead United against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday, but the Norwegian is under great pressure at Old Trafford due to a dismal run of form.
Should the club determine that a change in the dugout is required in the near future, Conte is widely viewed as the favorite to be named manager.
The Italian is expected to use Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba, Raphael Varane, Alex Telles, Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, and Marcus Rashford, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
However, the source made no mention of Harry Maguire or Luke Shaw, implying that they may be in danger of losing their starting spots if Conte replaces Solskjaer.
