Ole Out!! Senior Manchester United players ‘want Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacked

According to English journalist Duncan Castles, a number of senior Manchester United players want Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be relieved of his duties as head coach.
The Red Devils have lost three of their last four Premier League games, dropping to sixth place in the table, five points behind fourth-placed Liverpool, and Solskjaer is under increasing pressure as a result of their poor form.

The Norwegian has thus far kept hold of his job, though, and there is not expected to be any movement at the helm before next weekend’s clash with Watford at Vicarage Road.

“It’s actually amazing that he’s [Ole Gunnar Solskjaer] still in a job, given the results and the nature of the work he has done leading up to those results,” Castles said on the Transfer Window Podcast.

“Given the response of the dressing room, where there are now very senior members of the Manchester United squad briefing off-record that they feel that the coach has to change if they are to achieve what they expect to be able to achieve with the quality of the squad they have gathered there.”

Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Leicester City, is said to be the favorite to succeed Solskjaer, but the Northern Irishman is keen to finish the season at the King Power Stadium.
