Premier League side, Aston Villa are on the verge of appointing Steven Gerrard as their new manager, According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Villa has been looking for a replacement for Dean Smith, who was fired over the weekend after a string of poor results, and Romano has revealed that the club has settled on Gerrard as his replacement, with the paperwork already in place.
